Greg O’Shea lands back in Ireland for the first time after winning Love Island

The Limerick lad returned home to a hero's welcome

Greg O’Shea has landed back in Ireland for the first time after winning Love Island 2019.

The sports star, who plays for the Limerick Rugby Sevens, won the popular dating series last Monday with Newcastle beauty Amber Gill.

After completing a week of filming and press in the UK, Greg touched down at Shannon Airport this morning for his homecoming.

The 24-year-old returned home to a hero’s welcome, and the airport was decorated with balloons and huge LOVE letters.

Before he jetted home this morning, Greg enjoyed dinner with Amber and fellow finalists Ovie Soko and India Reynolds last night.

The foursome enjoyed a swanky dinner at The Ivy in London, and Greg shared a photo of them on their romantic dinner date on Instagram.

He captioned the post: “Lovely dinner with the squad last night. Back home now for a bit to see family and friends ☘️! @amberrosegill see you very soon ????.”
