Grainne Seoige swaps the TV screen for sparkles

Grainne Seoige has swapped the TV screen for sparkles and has set up her own jewellery company.

The former Crimecall host was axed from her show earlier this year but the Galway native has new ventures on the horizon with her diamond company Grace Diamonds.

“I think the word Grace represents what every bride wants on her wedding day,” she said.

The 42-year-old admitted that she was drawn to the word “grace” because of it’s elegance and hopes her unique service brings affordable luxury to Irish women.

“It’s a word that has very positive, elegant connotations and the inspiration for Grace Diamonds came from my own journey of getting engaged and Leon designing the ring of my dreams,” she told the Irish Independent.

“Getting that ring and knowing that no one in the world had one exactly like it meant an awful lot to me.

“I realised there is nothing quite like the service I experienced and that we are now offering to the Irish market.

“My motivation with Grace Diamonds was to bring affordable luxury combined with the best quality to Irish women.”

Grainne also revealed that she has not yet planned a wedding date with her fiancé of three years Leon Jordaan.

“Not yet,” she said when asked about her wedding date.

“I think I’m enjoying this phase of being engaged far too much.”

She may not be away from the screen for long as Grainne is tipped to host RTE’s Dancing With The Stars.
