RTE presenter Grainne Seoige has revealed her son-to-be husband has been learning Irish.
The Galway gaeilgeoir is engaged to South African rugby player Leon Jordaan and admitted he has been making an effort to speak Irish with her.
“Leon my fiance he only has a little bit of Irish,” she said.

“Everything he has is in a Connemara accent. He speaks with a real Mayo/Galway accent. He’s learning Irish and I’m speaking Afrikaan.”
Speaking on Today FM, Grainne added that Leon is more Irish than ever, and even got himself an Irish passport.
“He loves it here, he has an Irish passport now because he’s here ten years now,” she said.
