Gráinne Seoige jetted to New York this week for her final wedding dress fitting, ahead of her big day next month.

The TV presenter chose to have her dress custom made by Irish designer Don O’Neill, who is a close friend of hers.

Sharing photos of her and Don holding her dress in a garment bag, Gráinne wrote on Instagram: “My trip to NYC has come to an end and I leave with a huge smile on my face having made some great memories.”

“I also have had custom designed for me – the most beautiful couture gown I have ever seen – by one of the most talented and wonderful people in fashion @dononeill design.”

“I am so grateful for the amazing, talented and loving people I have in my life.
The countdown is well and truly on. Thank you @dononeilldesign @fleurdepascalny @theiacouture #itsgettingreal ????????????????????????,” she added.

Gráinne is set to wed her South African beau Leon in Ireland early next month, before the Christmas period.

The couple currently live in Pretoria, South Africa, but decided to host a proper Irish wedding because it “just makes sense”.

Gráinne and Leon will be wed in a civil ceremony with no bridesmaids or groomsmen, and the ceremony will be “trilingual” – featuring English, Gaeilge and Afrikaans.
