If Britain leave the EU, it could mean that Game of Thrones won’t be filmed in Northern Ireland anymore.
At the moment, the HBO show relies on money from the EU’s European Regional Development Fund as the show is very costly to produce.
With less of a budget, it will be harder for the show to create it’s usual over the top scenes, such as the Battle of the B******s which was filmed up north.

Not only will the scenes be less impressive, but there would be continuity worries if the show had to move certain scene locations from Northern Ireland to another country, the U.K. Independent reports.
Peter Chase, a senior fellow at the German Marshall Fund of the United States’ Brussels office, revealed that if the UK leave the EU, it would “absolutely” put financial strain on shows like Game of Thrones.
“It might be up in the air for the U.S. studios who want to film in the U.K.
“There are EU programmes to help fund all of this,” Peter further revealed.
“If the U.K. is no longer part of the EU, that has the potential to go away.”
