GAA star Paul Galvin is set to wed his DJ girlfriend Louise Duffy.
The Kerry footballer, 34, proposed to the Today FM presenter during a trip to New York last week.
The 28-year-old’s colleagues announced the news on the radio this morning, while she is on a break.
The couple – who live together in Dublin – had been hoping to keep the news quiet and only shared it with their closest friends.
Previously Louise admitted she didn’t understand why people cared so much about her relationship.
She said: “I hate talking about the relationship to be honest, I can’t get my head around people being interested in our love life.
“We are very happy, we have great fun together. We are happy out.”
Later this month, Louise will replace lunchtime host Keith Cunningham – or KC – on Today FM.
