Hotel connoisseur Francis Brennan has revealed that he is not interested in pursuing a love life.
The TV star explained that other than a brief teenage romance, he has not had a romantic relationship
Speaking to the Irish Independent, he said that he doesn’t feel that romance would have enriched his life in his 66 years.
“No. When I say no, I just never go there. I have never had a relationship.”
“I’ve just always worked, right? And in our business you can work 24 hours a day and you don’t even notice. ”
Francis also explained that he loved his nieces and nephews, and because of his close bond with them, he doesn’t feel the urge to marry and have his own children.
“I have fantastic nieces and nephews. Two of them texted me this morning already just for a chat. I have a great relationship with them and I can relate to them really, really well.”
Despite his choice to be self-partnered, Francis said that he rarely feels lonely.
“I don’t allow myself to. I am a great man for the radio. And I read quite a lot,” he said.
The star revealed that he has only had one romance in his life – when he was 17.
