A flight attendant who accused Dolores O’Riordan of assault five years ago is still seeking justice.

According to the Irish Times, Galway native Carmel Coyne is suing the deceased star’s estate over an incident that took place on November 11, 2014.

Carmel has claimed that Dolores stamped on her foot and physically attacked her, restricting her freedom of movement on board an Aer Lingus flight from New York to Shannon.

The air hostess claimed damages against the singer for alleged assault, battery, and false imprisonment – but Dolores pleading not guilty to the allegations.

Sadly before the case was ever settled, Dolores died suddenly in January 2018, after she accidentally drowned in a hotel bath due to alcohol intoxication.

Now, the case is being brought against the personal representatives of Dolores’ estate, after a judge granted an application filed by Carmel’s legal team.

Dolores’ personal reps are listed as Peter J. O’Riordan and Nollaig Hogan.

Carmel is also suing Aer Lingus over the alleged incident.
