First Dates Ireland couple Carla and Shez have announced their engagement, after eight months together.
The pair won the hearts of the nation earlier this year, when they connected on the popular RTÉ dating show.
Sharing the happy news on Instagram, Shez posted a sweet photo of Carla showing off her engagement ring.

He captioned the post: “She said yes 🤗 💍 & I get to spend the rest of my life with the best person on this planet!”

Carla also shared the news on social media, and wrote: “On my 40th birthday this absolute legend asked me to marry him!! No idea how he managed to keep this a secret from me, but he did and got me good!”

Viewers fell in love with Carla and Shez on First Dates Ireland earlier this year, after the pair realised how much they had in common after an uncertain start.
