Ben Condron has announced he is expecting baby number two with his partner Rachel.
The Fair City star, who plays Darragh Collins in the Irish soap, already shares a 4-year-old daughter named Bonnie with Rachel.
Speaking to Nicola Bardon on Q102, the actor revealed: “We’re due in July so she’s [my daughter] mainly excited about that over anything. I can’t wait.”
Opening up about expecting a baby during a pandemic, Ben admitted: “It’s quite scary but I suppose our bubble’s very small at home and we live in the countryside so that’s nice.
“In RTE it’s been great, everyone’s been very conscientious. Everything’s been really safe so I haven’t felt too at risk,” he added.
“I’m really loving the down time and the family time at the moment. They grow so fast.”
“Me being on the show for three years, that went quick and obviously she was still a newborn at the start of my entrance into Fair City.
“Time is precious it’s the one thing you can’t get back,” the Dublin native said.
