EXCLUSIVE! Vogue Williams reveals why she LOVES being single

The presenter favours a working life over a dating life

Vogue Williams has revealed why she loves being single.

The Howth native was married to boyband star Brian McFadden for three years before they split in 2015, and has since been linked to multiple men including pal Laurence Fox and rapper Professor Green.

However, Vogue told Goss.ie that she’s happily single, and loving being an independent woman as she gears up for the premiere of her new show, Vogue Williams On The Edge.

“I love being single because I can work as much as I want,” she said.

“I love working, I know it’s terrible but I love working,” Vogue told Goss.ie.

“It’s probably why I love being single because I can work as much as I want.

“I have to get my final draft of my book in by Christmas and I’m busy until March – that’s just the diary until March, it will probably fill up more over the next few weeks.

“I’m just continuing on and then I’ll probably start my next series next April, which is when I usually start.”

On tonight’s first episode of her documentary show, Vogue will be meeting with members of Ireland’s transgender community.

“I think that we have quite a strong trans community in Ireland and I think that it’s a lot bigger than people realise. I think our community is just as good as the American community,” she gushed.

“I loved every minute of filming [the transgender episode.] I met people who probably face some of the toughest things in their lives and they’re just so positive.

“They’re so intriguing, they’re interesting, they’re so eager to teach you and just really inspiring people. I loved making it because I got to hang out with them all for so long and so many different people from the trans community. It was great and I learned a lot.”

The 31-year-old also told how she learned so much while filming her show.

“I never knew about non-binary which is a type of gender. The gender spectrum is so much bigger than I ever thought it was. I learnt a lot about that. I never knew about that.

“People who don’t associated with being a boy or being a girl, they’re non-binary, they’re just sort of floating in between,” she added.
