The RTÉ star also revealed that he’s ran into the actress on more than one occasion.
“I’ve met Daisy Ridley now a couple of times,” the Dublin native admitted.
“I met her again over in L.A. around the Oscars time and I chatted to her again after the interview about the [Star Wars] audition.
“She said ‘oh yeah I had the same script!'”

Stephen said the two even talked about their auditions off camera, after he had interviewed her.
“We had a chat for a good fifteen minutes after the interview off camera about that whole thing,” he further revealed.
“I asked her how she got into it, like what was her audition, and she did it the same way I did as well.
“It was mad, for the first while we were auditioning off Hunger Games scripts, which was very strange, so we were bonding and chatting about that.
“It was weird being able to relate to someone who is on that level and think ‘wow, you’re actually in that movie and you’re a superstar,’ which she is, she’s amazing,” he added.
