EXCLUSIVE! Shannen Reilly McGrath and Ricci Guarnaccio’s romance is ‘on the rocks’

Have they called it quits?

Shannen Reilly McGrath and Ricci Guarnaccio’s romance is on the rocks, just weeks after the pair confirmed their relationship.

The model, who appeared on Love Island in 2017, was first spotted hanging out with the former Geordie Shore star in Dublin back in June.

After making their romance “official”, the pair were practically inseparable – but now it looks like their relationship is in trouble.

An insider exclusively told Goss.ie: “Shannen and Ricci have been struggling to deal with the long distance, and it all erupted this week.”

“Ricci suddenly deleted all his photos with Shannen on Instagram, so she did the same. Shannen was supposed to fly over to the UK this week to see him, but they haven’t spoken in days.”

“Just two weeks ago they were so loved up on holiday together, and they had even started apartment hunting in Dublin.”

“But like any girl Shannen can be quite insecure, and Ricci’s reputation definitely doesn’t help the situation,” the source continued.

“Hopefully they’ll be able to sort things out, as Ricci is supposed to attend the Miss Ireland launch with Shannen next Sunday, and they’re booked for TV and radio gigs as a couple.”

Ricci is the first person Shannen has dated since losing her longterm boyfriend Dano Doyle last year.

The reality star was left heartbroken when Dano passed away in the hospital at the age of 31, days after he was found “without a pulse” in his cell at Mountjoy Prison.

Dano was serving a one-year sentence for possession of drugs for sale or supply.

Ricci is best known for starring in MTV’s Geordie Shore back in 2012 – when he met his now ex-fiancé Vicky Pattison.

Their relationship was notoriously rocky, and the couple called off their engagement in 2013.

Back in April, Ricci admitted that he had suicidal thoughts after his split from Vicky.

He told the Daily Star: “I loved her and wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. But for a lot of the time I didn’t know what the situation was between us. I worried I couldn’t trust her, which gave me anxiety.”

“Then I started to get bad thoughts… suicidal ones and things like that. It builds up. There was so much pressure and so much s**t. I just couldn’t be bothered anymore.”

After quitting Geordie Shore, Ricci went on to appear on Celebrity Big Brother and Ex On The Beach.

In recent months, the 32-year-old has branched out into acting, and even landed a role in Australian horror Boar.’
