Shahira Barry is the latest Irish model to be the victim of catfishing.
The Galway beauty is best known for starring in music videos in the US and exclusively told Goss.ie someone has been using her pictures for porn.
“I just get Google alerts when anything new with my name is added to Google so I got an alert and sadly someone had taken a bunch of my pictures and put them on a porn site,” she told Goss.ie.

“But in between my lingerie pics were pics of this girl who’s fully nude and clearly a porn star with long dark hair,” she explained.
“So at first glance it looks like it’s me and it’s title is Shahira naked pics – the majority of the pics are me but they’re just my regular modelling pics that are on my Facebook,” she said.
The Playboy mansion regular added that she wasn’t too shocked because people have used her photos on the internet before, but now she is afraid future employers will think she is a porn star.

“Unfortunately it doesn’t surprise me too much because this kind of stuff has happened to me before with fake profiles and dating sites,” she admitted.
“What angers me is if anyone (like booking me for a job) was to Google me and not look at the pics close up and think that was me and that I’m some sort of porn star.
“And also the fact that anyone would actually hate me enough to go out if their way like that..it’s pretty pathetic and I pity them because they’re clearly an unhappy person,” she added.
