EXCLUSIVE! Ruth O’Neill ‘didn’t know’ Xpose stars were being axed

Ruth O’Neill has revealed she had no idea her fellow Xpose presenters were getting the chop.

Speaking to Goss.ie at the launch of Temple Street Children’s University Hospital Route 66 Fundraiser in association with Kiehls, Ruth admitted she didn’t realise Peter O’Riordan, Lisa Cannon and Aisling O’Loughlin were being let go.

“I didn’t know what was going to happen,” she admitted.

“That’s always the way it is in entertainment,” she told Goss.ie.

“I’m used to change from living over in L.A. when I worked in ABC news and E! news.

“Friends were always coming and getting other jobs. That’s just the nature of the business.”

When asked if Ruth, who is now hosting the show alongside new co-host Cassie Stokes, has spoken to Peter, she said:

“I don’t know [about Peter]. I can’t say much about it,” she said.

“Since all the changes have happened I’ve been so busy.
