Rob Kenny has opened up about finding love again, following his heartbreaking split from long-term boyfriend Fabio Bernardo last year.
Over the weekend, the social media star admitted that he is officially “off the market”, when he was quizzed by Sean Musanje on FM104’s The Juice during his weekly ‘Man About Town’ slot.
Rob has been keeping mum about his new beau for months, but he’s been dropping some subtle hints on Instagram in recent weeks – and finally posted a photo of them holding hands on Valentine’s Day.
When quizzed about the loved-up post, Rob said, “I admit it, I’m off the market. I met a new man late last year and he’s incredible.”
Speaking exclusively to Goss.ie, Rob confessed, “It’s still early days with Shane but I’m really happy with him.”
“We became officially ‘boyfriends’ on Valentines night. I embarrassingly asked him to be my boyfriend like a 14 year old girl! He lives literally 2 minutes around the corner from me in Stoneybatter, so we’ve been spending almost every day together.”
Rob celebrated his birthday last weekend at plush Dublin restaurant Peploes, where he posed for snaps with his influencer pals Holly Carpenter and James Kavanagh.
And it turns out Rob’s new beau was at his birthday bash too, but Rob purposely hid him from any social media posts.

He told us, “My birthday was last Saturday and I had asked the group with me to hide Shane from any social media posts throughout the evening.”
“I’ve been enjoying the privacy of our relationship and honestly didn’t want to put any extra pressure on us lasting as a couple by sharing our relationship too early.”
“However I guess the cats out of the bag now that Sean Munsanje asked me about it point blank live on air, thanks Sean!” Rob joked.
It’s no surprise Rob wanted to hide his new beau from social media for so long, considering his very difficult breakup with long-time boyfriend Fabio last year.
Rob and Fabio were together for four years, but sadly made the decision to separate in 2018 – due to ultimately wanting to live in different countries.
The fashion influencer spoke exclusively to Goss.ie about the break up last April, and admitted that he was heartbroken.
