Picture This almost missed their sold-out gig in New York City last night, after a terrifying close call with a massive truck.
Goss.ie were at their packed show in The Bowery Ballroom in NYC on Tuesday night, when lead singer Ryan Hennessy revealed that they nearly missed the gig because their tour bus scraped off the side of truck.
“We didn’t think we would make it,” Ryan said.
“We were driving in our tour bus and scraped the side of a truck. All the windows smashed in on us.”
“It was very rock and roll,” he laughed.
Bandmates Ryan Hennessy and Jimmy Rainsford, who hail from Athy Co. Kildare, played to a packed crowd in the Bowery Ballroom.
Ryan told fans that they were “making our dreams come true every day” as they sang some of their most popular hits, including Never Change and Take My Hand.
Picture This are set to perform on The Today Show today, which will be their first ever appearance on US television.
