Peter O’Riordan has opened up about leaving Ireland for good – after being axed from Xpose.
The father-of-one has decided to return to the states, after he was let go from the TV3 series – two years after moving from LA to work for the station.
“We are sad to be leaving, we had built a life here and just when it seemed we were settled the rug was pulled from underneath us,” he told Goss.ie.

“We are heading to Maui first to soak up some sun and finish Stephs (my wife) skin care brand.
“The future is very bright,” he told Goss.ie.
Peter started out his showbiz career in top news site TMZ, and admitted he wouldn’t say no to making a return.
“As far as TMZ, I would never rule out anything they are the lead in entertainment worldwide and some of my best friends still work there I make a point to not burn bridges ever.

“I have a couple of treatments that are written with the hopes to sell a format stateside, I also have a project sitting with TV3 right now around MMA about the grassroots in Ireland and dispelling the negative stereotypes that surround it predominantly focused on SGB and John Kavanagh.
“So hopefully we can get that off the ground together,” he explained.
“My family and I would like to thank all the supporters and well wishers for the kind words from the moments we arrived in this country and to my own family in cork and Stephs in Hawaii who support us always,” he added.
