We caught up with Maia Dunphy on the Marker Hotel rooftop as she was announced as the host for the 2018 Peter Mark VIP Style Awards.
The former Dancing With The Stars hopeful told us she was finished with reality TV having now been on each of the shows she wanted to appear on.
When asked if she’d appear on any other reality show she replied “Not a chance in hell!”
“I always said, you know those pub table chats you have with friends where they say ‘Would you do reality TV?’, I always said I’d do Master Chef and I’d do Dancing [With The Stars] and I’ve done both.”
The Restaurant wouldn’t tempt her either assuring us “I think I’ll keep my cooking to my own kitchen.”
As for whether we’d be seeing her other half, Johnny Vegas, donning dancing shoes on the telly anytime soon she gave a definite answer.
“Johnny’s been asked pretty much every year by Strictly for the last ten years.”
“He would never do it, not even if his life depended on it! I can categorically say that.”
The TV presenter divulged that she was “totally devastated” for the week after her elimination but was looking forward to the group dance in the finale.
