Lucy Kennedy and Des Bishop are two gas individuals so it was no surprise that when they both landed chatting to Goss.ie at the same time on the IFTAs red carpet it was hard to get a word in!
The presenter crashed Des’ interview and a serious amount of friendly flirting ensued. Lucy confirmed, “I am still married to a man,” after Des denied their romance saying, “She’s gone the other way.” She jokingly went on to say they “may be returning to their roots” in relation to Podge and Rodge coming back to our screens teasing us by finishing “never say never!”
The comedian congratulated Lucy on her work on Ireland’s Got Talent saying she had “done a great job” and that “it exceeded everybody’s expectations.” She agreed and stated “Thank God it turns out Ireland does have talent,” before going on to say “we have enough [talent] for 22 seasons!” When asked whether 22 seasons of the show were confirmed she managed rapidly changed the subject pointing to an invisible object in the sky.
