Karen Koster has revealed that she once worried she wouldn’t be a good mum to a boy.
The TV star is mum to 1-year-old son Finn but admitted that she had a moment of panic when she found out her bundle of joy would be a boy.
“It’s funny, when I first found out I was having a boy with Finn a part of me was like, ‘Oh my god I’m not really a tomboy, will I be a good mum to a boy?'” she told Goss.ie.

Currently pregnant with her second child, Karen insisted she doesn’t mind whether she’s in store for another boy or a girl.
“I am absolutely obsessed with my little prince so it really doesn’t matter. I love him like I never thought I would, it doesn’t matter if my next baby is a boy or a girl,” she told Goss.ie.
Speaking at the launch of the UNICEF, Save the Children and IKEA soft toy fundraising campaign in IKEA Ballymun, Karen insisted she wont be following celeb trend and giving her newborn an unusual name.
“No, not at all, no celebrity names. Not with McGuire as a surname, it’s too much of a traditional Irish name to go for anything mad. A nice, solid name I think,” she said.

The Xpose host told Goss.ie she’s grateful that both of her pregnancies have been so smooth and she hasn’t had to suffer through morning sickness.
“I’ve never had any sickness at all. I don’t get cravings, I’ve been very, very lucky,” she explained.
“I never stop eating which I think probably keeps it at bay, I’m mostly just hungry and hormonal and cry at the drop of a hat.”
