Jane Swarbrigg is the girl boss behind Ireland’s most popular cruelty-free makeup brand.
She gave us the low down on what updates we should be making to our maekup bags ahead of the summer months and told us all about the Inglot awards this coming Sunday.
‘It used to be all about this really strong matte lip but now actually it’s kind of softening a little bit.’
‘The lip satin, they’re amazing quality, really nourishing on your lips! So, it’s kind of toning down slightly.’
‘The fluffy brow is really in now, as opposed to a really strong structured brow.’
‘Colour is coming back! So exciting to be getting out of the doom and gloom of winter.’
The inaugural Inglot Awards take place this Sunday and Jane spoke about how the brand tries to foster entrepreneurship among it’s makeup artists.
‘With social media we really try to push them to the forefront which is something other brands don’t do.’
‘From a business point of view we are trying to grow makeup artists in to managers and business women.’
Over 78,000 votes were cast by the public for the seven award categories: Newcomer of the Year, Inglot MUA of the Year, Pro Team Member of the Year, Product Specialist of the Year, In store trainer of the Year, Social Media Specialist of the Year, Store of the Year, Undiscovered MUA, Inglot Addict of the Year, Rising Star Of the Year and Overall Winner.
