Holly Carpenter and her fiancé Jamie Hunt have shared a huge wedding planning update.
The former Miss Ireland started dating the salesman in 2020, and announced their engagement back in May – when Jamie popped the question at the Poolbeg Towers.
Speaking exclusively to Goss.ie at the Marie Keating Foundation Golf Classic 2024, the couple revealed that the wedding planning is underway.
Holly confessed to Goss.ie: “We went to France and looked at a few venues…”
Jamie added, “I think we nailed one,” teasing that the pair have chosen the venue for the big day.
The couple also confirmed that they have settled on having their wedding abroad.
The two then admitted what they are most looking forward to about their big day, and had a very sentimental answer.
Jamie told us: “I think having the family there.”
He sweetly continued: “Then little moments like seeing Holly go down the aisle with her father. Thats going to be a big one.”
He added: “Yeah, all those special moments with family.”
Holly similarly said: “It’s the same for me. I’ve always dreamed of that moment with my dad and our first dance.”
She continued: “Just seeing all of our friends and family together.”
“It’s hard these days to get people together unless it’s a wedding. So its going to be really really beautiful. Can’t wait.”
Family is hugely important to both Holly and Jamie, as her dad Karl, as well as Jamie’s father Keith, are currently battling cancer.
Earlier this year, the couple helped raise thousands of euro for The Marie Keating Foundation through their Paddy’s Day Dip fundraiser in honour of their fathers.
