EXCLUSIVE: Fred Cooke admits that if he has to perform a ‘serious’ dance on Dancing with the Stars it is going to be ‘ironic’

Fred Cooke has admitted that if he has to do a ‘serious’ dance it would be quite ‘ironic.’

The 38-year-old survived the first elimination from ‘Dancing with the Stars’ last night as Mrs. Brown’s Boys star Eilish O’Carroll, was the first celebrity to leave.

The comedian danced the Charleston with his Italian pro-dancer partner, Giulia Dotta.

We caught up with the ‘Republic of Telly’ star and he exclusively told Goss.ie that although he takes the competition ‘seriously’, he’s not too sure about doing a serious dance.

He admitted: “I don’t know, I think if I do something too serious it would be kind of ironic.”

The comedian acknowledged that each week will be a new dance and new challenges so he credited his dancing partner for her patience.
