Derry Girls star, Saoirse-Monica Jackson said she feels “very privileged” to be part of the show.
The comedy recently finished its second season and has already been renewed for a third.
The series has been a huge success both in Ireland and Britain, as it’s even been nominated for a BAFTA in the ‘Best Scripted Comedy’ category.
Speaking exclusively to Goss.ie at the Peter Mark VIP Style Awards, the actress said: “I’m very privileged to be part of a show like Derry Girls.”

As for the upcoming season, Saoirse-Monica revealed that she doesn’t know anything about it: “We actually know nothing at the moment. No one could ever guess the magic and the madness of Lisa McGee’s mind.”
