Charleen Murphy has gushed over her supportive boyfriend Dano Mandroiu.
The popular influencer has been dating the sports star for four years, and he regularly makes an appearance on her social media accounts.
Speaking exclusively to Goss.ie at the launch of her collection with Lynott Jewellery, the 25-year-old admitted: “He’s my number one fan!”
When asked if Dano is her number one fan, Charleen confessed: “He is and I’m his! I watch all his games. I go to them when I can.”
“I think its important for your boyfriend to be that support system and to be your number one fan. That what they should be.”
“They should support what you do, what you wear, what you say, and just be your best friend really.”
The pair have been navigating a long distance relationship in recent years, as Dano is currently signed with a football team in the UK – while Charleen has remained in Dublin.
However, Dano got to spend some time back in Ireland over the summer with the influencer further telling Goss.ie about what it was like having him home.
She confessed: “It’s been nice. I didn’t expect it to be this long.”
“We didn’t know where he was going.”
“I was living the summer thinking he might be gone any second, because it can happen so quick – any contracts.”
She added: “It was weird but looking back we actually had so much time together where he just wasn’t working.”
“So it was nice, really nice yeah.”
Charleen previously opened up about navigating their long distance relationship.
Speaking to Goss.ie on the pink carpet at The Gossies 2024, Charleen acknowledged Dano’s absence on the night and admitted: “I wish he was here I feel like an empty person, he would’ve came if he could.”
On how they manage living in separate countries, she said: “It’s just about communication and making sure you’re there for each other and talking to each other a lot and making time- it’s hard”
“At least there’s no time difference with us so it’s easy enough but just making sure you know when you’re seeing them next as well is a big thing, it’s really important.”
