EXCLUSIVE: Bonnie Ryan gushes about her fiancé – as she reveals details of her wedding day

Bonnie Ryan has opened up about her fiancé John, as they plan their upcoming wedding day.

The makeup artist will tie the knot with her long time love next year, and revealed she has been busy planning her big day.

The popular influencer keeps her husband-to-be John out of the limelight but admitted she was “lucky” to find love with her fiancé.

“We’ve been friends since we were only about 10,” she told Goss.ie.

“We were in the same friends group and just ended up getting together and he’s stuck with me somehow and now he’s put a ring on my finger there’s no getting away from me!”

“I’m very lucky, but you know what – he’s very lucky too,” she laughed.

Bonnie joined Londis and Nestlé Ireland to announce that all proceeds from KITKAT four finger chocolate bars sold in Londis stores nationwide from Thursday 3rd to Sunday 6th of September will be donated to Pieta House.

“It’ll be next summer,” Bonnie told Goss.ie of her upcoming nuptials.

“I feel lucky because the wedding planning gave me something to do during my downtime, so it kept me busy.”

The popular makeup artist also revealed that she won’t have any MUAs doing her own look on her special day: “I am 100% doing my makeup on the day,” she admitted.

All funds raised from Londis and Nestle Ireland’s campaign will aid Pieta House services, such as the 24/7 Helpline, which has seen an increase in calls since Covid-19.

“I genuinely enjoy doing my makeup so much and creating my own looks. It’s also quite calming for me so I think it’ll be quite nice on the morning to be able to sit down with champagne and do my thing.

“Nobody knows my face the way I know it so I’m going to do my own makeup for sure. I’ll get my hair done so that’ll be my little treat!

She added: “I won’t be getting up and doing everybody’s makeup, just my own.”

Bonnie previously admitted she wants her big day to focus on the good, rather than the sadness of her father Gerry Ryan not being there.

Speaking to the Irish Daily Mirror, Bonnie said she wants the day to be filled with positivity, but her legendary father, who tragically died in 2010, will be there in “some shape or form”.

“I just want people to be really excited and happy that it is the day I am getting married and focus on that rather than being sad,” she said.

“In my family, we talk about him every day and we always remember him and do things to bring him into conversation.

“And of course in some shape or form he will be in my wedding, but yeah I am just focusing on all of the exciting stuff,” she admitted.
