In case you didn’t already know, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds landed in Ireland last week.
And now, Goss.ie can exclusively reveal that the couple are residing in Dalkey during their stay in Ireland, as Blake films scenes for her latest film project, The Rhythm Section.
An insider told us that the pair have rented a private apartment in the popular suburb, which is located in South Dublin.
Speaking exclusively to Goss.ie, a well-placed source said: “Blake and Ryan wanted to stay somewhere really low key, and make sure the place was suitable for their kids.”
“Before they arrived, they arranged for fresh flowers to be displayed in the apartment, and they even had a new trampoline put in the garden for their daughters James and Ines,” the source added.
Blake is in town to film The Rhythm Section, a female global espionage thriller, which is being produced by the makers of the Bond movies, and will be directed by The Handmaid’s Tale director/exec producer Reed Morano.
Earlier this year, Reed was spotted scouting for filming locations in Wicklow, and posted a picture of a red-haired woman looking at some moody clouds in the Irish countryside, and wrote: “Here we go #therhythmsection.”
The Rhythm Section will be the movie adaption of the first book in Mark Burnell’s four-part series, and the story follows the lead character, Stephanie Patrick, whose life is ruined when her family are all killed in a plane crash that she was meant to be on.
However, she then discovers that the plane crash wasn’t an accident, and turns into a deadly assassin – determined to take revenge on the people responsible.
