Ben Wheatley has revealed details of his terrifying flight in to Dublin.
Ahead of his film Free Fire’s screening at the Audi Dublin International Film Festival, the director spoke to Goss.ie about how Storm Doris caused his plane to shake.
“We flew in thanks to Hurricane Doris, which was a bit terrifying to be honest,” he said.

“We came in at like a 45 degree angle in a shaking plane. I need a pint of Guinness to calm down,” he told Goss.ie.
Ben also admitted that he has casted Brie Larson in the film before Emma Donoghue’s film Room was released.
“Brie was really really cool. We were really lucky – I casted her because she’s really great.
“Room hadn’t even come out at that point so the whole Oscar thing wasn’t even something that was part of the equation,” he added.
