EXCLUSIVE! Amid IFTAs gender row, Liam Neeson admits: ‘There’s a revolution happening’

Liam Neeson has revealed he believes a revolution is beginning around the world – amid several gender rows.

Just this week the Irish Film Board said they were “disappointed” with this year’s IFTA nominations, as most nominees are male.
“I’m just hearing about this now I want to congratulate  all the nominees,” Liam told Goss.ie.
Speaking at the red carpet premiere of his new movie The Commuter, Liam said he hadn’t heard about any drama around the IFTAS, but he truly believes things are about to change.

“There’s a revolution happening. Not just in our business, it’s got to be in every business,” he explained.

“There’s 130 million girls in the world being denied education so that’s something to seriously think about.”

“It’s going to take a long time but it’s going to get there and if the focus is on Hollywood at the minute to make the change happen, good.”
Liam’s latest movie, The Commuter, will hit cinemas on January 19th.
