Alan Hughes has admitted that working on Ireland AM during the coronavirus pandemic has been a “life saver”.
The TV presenter has stayed hosting the show since the beginning of lockdown. Opening up about the last few months on the latest episode of Goss Chats, Alan said working on the Virgin Media show kept him going.
“We’re just getting through it, and that’s all we can do at the moment,” Alan said of the pandemic.
“Thank God I’ve been working, I’ve been one of the lucky ones, because I’ve worked right the way through it.
“And that in one way has been a life saver because it got you out of the house and kept you in a routine,” he explained.
In the interview Alan also opens up about his fears for the future of his Cheerios Panto, and spending more time with his husband Karl Broderick.
Goss Chats is sponsored by top aesthetic clinic Haus of JeJuve.
