Eve Hewson: 'I had to get used to American men telling me I'm beautiful'

Eve Hewson has opened up about dating in American – admitting she had to get used to US men telling her she’s beautiful.

The daughter of U2 rocker, Bono, revealed Irishmen act differently when trying to woe the object of their affection.

“I had to get used to American guys telling me that I was beautiful,” she said.

“Irish guys are, like, ‘You look horrible today; would you want to go out later?'”

Although the Dubliner was previously in a long-term relationship with the American James Lafferty – she admitted she’s happily single.

“I’m 24. And I travel so much; I can’t commit to anybody,” she told the Telegraph.
