A Eurovision legend will be on The Late Late Show this week

Johnny Logan will be joining Ryan Tubridy on The Late Late Show this week.

The singer is known as being the only performer to have won the Eurovision Song Contest twice, in 1980 and 1987. He also composed the winning song in 1992.

He’ll  be telling viewers what it takes to win the contest these days, and giving his take on Ireland’s Brendan Murray’s chances of victory in Kiev.

The show will also be celebrating the best of the Eurovision with EuroSingSong 2017.

The stars competing include Marty Whelan, Cliona Hagan, Mairead Ronan, Derek Burke, Paul Harrington and Rónán Johnston

Also joining Ryan on Friday night is horse trainer Jessica Harrington, fresh from her million euro winning streak taking home the Irish Grand National, Irish Gold Cup, Cheltenham Gold Cup and Punchestown Gold Cup in quick succession.

Comedian Bernard O’Shea will be telling viewers about the ten things he wants to see the back of in Ireland in 2017.
