Ellie Goulding has laughed off rumours about a love triangle with Niall Horan.
The Burn singer has been linked to the One Direction star, with rumours that she hooked up with the Mullingar man while seeing Ed Sheeran.
But when asked about the rumours about her love life, Ellie said she prefers keeping things private.
“I just laugh about stuff that’s made up constantly, if only people knew the truth,” she said.

“But there’s no point in commenting on it, I think commenting on  it just adds fuel to the fire. It makes me laugh really.”
“I just know eventually everyone will know the truth, I’m at peace with that.”
Just this week Ed Sheeran admitted he was still “pi****” after a One Direction star hooked up with Ellie.
“I was just pi**** off. I just thought it was a bit disrespectful,” he said.

“It’s a difficult conversation to have… He was my mate, so I was just a bit like, ‘Um not cool’.”
Ed later wrote Don’t – a song on his new album about what happened with Niall and Ellie.
Speaking on The Colm Hayes Show on 2FM, Ellie said she has also penned songs on her new album about her relationships.
“I’m certainly looking forward to getting my third album out. I’m very real what I write about, I write about my personal situations,” she said.

Ellie is set to return to Ireland as one of the special acts for Guinness Amplify.
