Eamonn Holmes has confirmed that he will be replacing Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain for a brief spell later this month.
The seasoned broadcaster will join the Good Morning Britain presenting team for four days in the run-up to Easter, while Piers and Susanna Reid are on their holidays.
Eamonn said, “After the last four months of lie-ins, I feel refreshed and my hips have healed well.

“Breakfast TV is what I’m best known for so it’s nice to be back doing a short spell of early starts and to be back at my old stomping ground.”
He will be joining Kate Garraway and Charlotte Hawkins next week.
Eamonn has worked with Kate before, and also with Charlotte on Sunrise.
