Irish actor Stuart Townsend has been off the radar because he has a “secret” family.
The Dublin star’s brother, Dylan,who is an Irish film maker, opened up to Goss.ie about the revelation admitting he’s fallen in love with a Costa Rican woman and is expecting his second child soon.
“I’m really happy for him…he’s been off the map for the past year,” Dylan revealed.
“He’s in Costa Rica now, he’s bought land in Costa Rica and he hasn’t been living in LA for the past six months – he’s got a whole new family, yeah and no one knows about it,” Â he divulged.

Speaking at the launch of new RTE show Exiles: Vancouver, Dylan said his brother is happy.
“He’s about to have a second child and he’s fallen in love with a Costa Rican girl as well and he has he’s piece of land so yeah, totally new journey for him.”
Stuart who is best known for his role in A League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, dated Charlize Theron for 10 years has kept a low profile ever since the split.

“I do yeah – it just happens, it’s an easy descriptor and I get it. It’s natural, I’ve had enough of it now cos I’m my own man and I’m not doing what Stuart did,” he said.
“Stuarts been gone for 15 years, it still amazes me that he’s so prominent but you know it’s all good,
“Eventually that will be let go of, I say the show will be part of it – I am my own man…we’re very different,” he added.
Dylan jetted to Vancouver for the Straywave production to make his debut series Hipstreet.
