Dublin hotspot The Wright Venue set to close down

The venue has been open since 2009

The Wright Venue is set to close later this month, it has been revealed.

It’s believed the club, which is based in Swords, will close on January 14th, and staff have been informed.

The venue’s staff have reportedly been offered the chance to seek alternative employment across the organisation.

The ‘super-club’ first opened in July 2009, and has been a prominent venue in the Dublin nightclub scene ever since.

The nightclub was spread across three floors, and included an over-23s penthouse area on the third floor.

The club hosted a host of Irish and international celebrities over the years, including Rihanna, 50 Cent, Ellie Goulding, and Conor McGregor.

The news comes after the recent closure of Club 92 in Leopardstown, and the upcoming closure of Lillie’s Bordello on January 19th.
