Donegal bouncers fighting each other to protect Corrie's Michelle Keegan on visit

Every single bouncer at a Donegal nightclub has volunteered to act as Michelle Keegan’s bodyguard when she jets.

The Coronation Street star is appearing at Voodoo in Letterkenny on Saturday night.

But club boss Philip Ward is forcing his 16 security staff to draw straws to decide who protects the soap actress.

“I honestly can’t see what all the fuss is about. For some reason every one of them want to be up close and personal with Michelle on the night,” he said.

Boss Philip plans to have two bodyguards protecting her at the club – to make sure her safety is their “ultimate priority”.

“Michelle is known as being very fan friendly and she loves nothing better than having her pictures taken and chatting with fans,” he told the Irish Sun.

“Fans will be able to chat with Michelle whose profile has gone through the roof since she left Corrie. We are very lucky to have her.

“That said, we will be ensuring that her personal safety will be our ultimate priority.”

She will be in Voodoo between 12am and 2.30am on Saturday night.
