Doireann Garrihy has posted a touching tribute to her “bestest pal” Bobby, after he sadly passed away on Tuesday.
The beloved pooch belonged to the presenter’s sister Ailbhe, who Doireann lived with up until a few weeks ago.
Sharing photos and videos of Bobby on Instagram, heartbroken Doireann wrote: “I loved Bobby from the minute I laid eyes on him.”
“My bestest pal for the past 3 years. Thank you @ailbhegarrihy and @ruaidhrih for bringing him into my life.”

“He brought me more fun and joy than I could have ever imagined. I couldn’t but share every bit of him. You’ll have a big piece of my heart forever Bob,” she added.
Doireann’s sister Ailbhe revealed Bobby had died in a heartbreaking post shared on Instagram this morning.
She told her followers that her beloved Maltese passed away after an “awful accident”.
