Aoibhín Garrihy announced that she’s expecting her first child with her husband John Burke on Saturday, and naturally everyone was thrilled for them – especially her sister Doireann Garrihy.
The former Fair City star made the announcement just in time for Christmas, and the Garrihy family travelled down to Clare for the holidays.
Aoibhín showed off her growing baby bump as she went for an early morning swim on Christmas morning in Lahinch, but she later got all dressed up in a royal blue dress for Christmas dinner – which may be a hint at her baby’s gender.
Aoibhín’s sister Doireann raised eyebrows when she posted a picture on Snapchat.
Posting a picture of Aoibhín wearing a royal blue shift dress from Sister Jane, Doireann captioned the snap with a number of emojis – a blue heart, a baby, and a baby bottle.
Although Aoibhín is yet to confirm the sex of her baby, we think Doireann may have dropped a hint that her sister is expecting a baby boy.
We’ll just have to wait and see…
