Influencer and 2FM host Doireann Garrihy has revealed that she is taking a trip away with her Dad.
The radio host and her father Eugene are venturing to the Central African country of Rwanda with Bothar Ireland.
“I am so delighted to finally be able to share this” she posted via Instagram.
“Tomorrow week, my Dad and I travel to Rwanda with @botharireland for an eye-opening trip.”
Bothar helps to provide livestock to deprived families who can utilize the gift of a farm animals to provide for their families and create an income.
“We’re heading over there a quarter of a century after the worlds fastest ever killing spree devastated this tiny Central African nation,” Doireann wrote.
“We’ll be seeing how Bóthar’s airlift of in-calf Irish heifers are settling in after being handed over to widows of the horrific genocide, among lots of other things.”
“I’ll be sharing daily updates along the way. There’s no one I’d rather do this with than Euge,” she wrote.
The charity gave 400 Irish dairy cows to deprived families in 2018.
