Doireann Garrihy has finally confirmed details of her new RTE show The Doireann Project.
Speaking to Plan B on SPIN 103.8, Doireann said the show will air on the RTE Player next week.
“There’s impressions, there’s original sketches, it’s a good mix so there’s something for everyone,” she revealed.
The show will be available on the RTE Player next week, and of course, it’s called The Doireann Project.
“I didn’t suggest that, it was RTE actually. They got in touch about a year ago actually,” she explained.
“It’s taken the guts of a year to finally come to fruition, we thrashed out so many ideas.
“We kind of sat down and said ‘okay you have this online following so people are going to watch it but we want other people to come and watch you and see what you can do.’
“So that’s why we’ve kind of got a number of different characters,” she added.
It sounds like the show will not just be focused on sketches about bloggers, but will include sketches in general.
To keep teasing us, Doireann shared a photo of herself on set dressed up as a Gard.
Meanwhile, popular social media star added that the last year has “been a whirlwind” since her Snapchat and Facebook videos went viral.
