Creator of Derry Girls Lisa McGee is bringing a brand new show to our screens.
The screenwriter is set to see her thriller series The Deceived brought to Virgin Media Television in it’s autumn season.
The series was co-written by Lisa and her actor husband Tobias Beer.

The series revolves around the lead character Ophelia, who falls in love with her married lecturer Michael while she is his student.
The affair leads to a sudden death – and Ophelia grapples with understanding how it happened.
The series is set between Cambridge in the UK, and Donegal.
Lisa’s work has been nominated for IFTAs, Baftas and Royal TV Society Awards.
Lisa also created Raw for RTE.
