Dermot Kennedy has confirmed that he has been collaborating with Niall Horan.
The 28-year-old has revealed that he wrote a song with the former One Direction star during the Coronavirus lockdown.
Speaking to Ray D’Arcy on RTÉ Radio One, Dermot stated that the track is “a good tune.”
“I did a bit with Niall. It was gas,” he said. “It was this thing where we were sending ideas back and forth on WhatsApp.”
“At one point he was like: ‘Will I call you?’ And I was like, ‘It’s grand! This is fine! We’re getting our point across!'”
However, the Outnumbered hitmaker explained that he doesn’t know if his fans will ever hear the new song.
“Who knows? It lives with him, you’ll have to follow up with him,” he laughed.
“The amount of this stuff that goes on and it may never see the light of day… Who knows?”
