Daniel O'Donnell's company makes €3m in profits

Daniel O’Donnell has made bank as profits at his company are over 2.9 million.

New accounts lodged by the Donegal native show entertainment firm DOD Promotions Ltd’s profits decreased by €102,150 from €3.008 million to €2.906 million in the 12 months to the end of October 2014.

The drop is not a confirmation that the firm made a lost last year, however it may be attributable to Daniel taking a larger salary – although no details have been provided.

The crooner’s income isn’t expected to be as great this year after he previously announced he plans to take some time off from music from February of this year.

A major contributor to the wealth of DOD promotions is Daniel’s touring company, Brockwell Ltd, which was charged €281,781 by the singer and DOD promotions during 2013.

According to reports, the latest figures from Brockwell Ltd show that €913,843 was owed by it to the 53-year-old and DOD promotions at the balance sheet date.
