Majella O’Donnell has welcomed her first grandchild into the world.
The singer and her husband Daniel shared the good news on her facebook page.
“Here she is! Our beautiful granddaughter Olivia Margaret Lynda Shields. Born at 5.44pm on 2nd August. Mum, dad and baby all doing well. We are soooo delighted and blessed to have her,” she said.

Majella’s daughter Siobhan gave birth to the baby girl on Sunday evening.
“Proud grandad Daniel meets Olivia. He’s absolutely delighted and smitten as we have her home tonight,” she captioned a photo of Daniel with the baby.
Majella and Daniel recently filmed a reality show Daniel and Majella’s B&B Road Trip where the pair travelled to various B&B’s around Ireland and were set tasks in each location.Â
