Speaking to the Irish Sunday Mirror, Loraine revealed: “We’ve always said we’ve wanted Ryan Tubridy and Ray D’Arcy.”

“For me I’d love Joe Duffy and Daithi O’Se. They’d be taken out of their comfort zone.”

“It would be fabulous to have one of the Olympians or Paralympians. I’d love to see Ellen Keane or Kellie Harrington, both such inspirational ladies.

“The other two people who I truly wish would come are Dermot Bannon and the newsreader Caitriona Perry. She’s such a gorgeous girl, I think she’d be a lovely dancer,” Loraine continued.

“Of course Dermot, he does all the houses and he’s very particular, I just thought ‘gosh, what would he be like dancing?'”

“We had Aoibhin Garrihy in season one and I think her sister Doireann would be super.”

Speaking about the show’s return, the Cabra native added: “I’m thrilled for the Irish people that they’re going to get a fabulous show back on TV on a Sunday night to get us through that winter.”
