RTÉ have confirmed a huge change to Dancing with the Stars following the Strictly Come Dancing misconduct scandal.
The BBC dance competition show was hit with several scandals last year as many professional dancers faced shocking allegations against them.
Giovanni Pernice and Graziano Di Prima left the show after they came under fire for their behaviour during training with their celebrity partners.

Following the allegations the BBC introduced a number of measures to ensure the safety of the celebrities – including chaperones and welfare officers.
Now, RTÉ confirmed to The Sun that they have introduced the “welfare producer” following BBC 2025 guidelines prompted by recent scandal.
A spokesperson told the publication: “Under the BBC’s guidelines for the 2025 series, ShinAwil, who are the format producers for RTE, are obliged to have a welfare producer.”
The shows boss, Larry Bass, stressed that the celebs loved being on the show.

He told The Sun: “If you ask anyone who has been on Dancing With The Stars in Ireland if they have had a good or bad experience, you will pretty much get a uniform answer. The celebrities we have had dancing on the show loved the experience.”
“We have strict policies and procedures on Dancing With The Stars, which have protected us well over the years.”
“If anything ever happened, we nipped it in the bud. You don’t let monsters grow.”
“We have had things, where we had to sit down and talk to people on various shows. I won’t breach any confidentiality, but if something has happened and you’ve had a confidential conversation, and it hasn’t happened again, that’s been a good resolution for everyone.”

Larry continued: “And if it’s something that can’t be resolved, you move on and make sure that person doesn’t come back in the future.”
“I won’t say we grow extra antennae, but you have to be all-consuming on these shows and we watch absolutely everything.”
