Curtis Pritchard will NOT be returning to Dancing With The Stars Ireland

Curtis Pritchard will not be returning to Dancing With The Stars Ireland following his Love Island stint.

The Irish Mail on Sunday has revealed that the pro-dancer is ditching the RTÉ show in favour of a leading role in a UK pantomime.

It is speculated that the dancer could be paid up to €223,000 for his panto performance.

Former Love Island star Kem Cetinay broke the panto news on This Morning earlier this month.

The additional rehearsals for the panto mean that Curtis will not have the time to take up his contract with DWTS again.

“He wouldn’t be available for rehearsals or some of the live shows and that rules him out of our show,” a source told the paper.

“I’m so happy to be making my professional pantomime debut this year, and am delighted to be part of such an important part of so many families’ Christmases,” he said, before entering the Love Island villa.

Curtis has worked on Dancing With The Stars since 2017.

He’s been partnered with model Thalia Heffernan and businesswoman Norah Casey during his two year stint. He also paired with model Holly Carpenter, but did not make it to the live shows after suffering a knee injury.

Love Island returns to Virgin Media Two on Sunday night at 9pm.
