Curtis Pritchard throws shade at Maura Higgins and Chris Taylor on Celebs Go Dating

Curtis Pritchard threw shade at Maura Higgins and Chris Taylor on the latest episode of Celebs Go Dating.

The 24-year-old split from Maura last March, seven months after they coupled up on Love Island.

The Irish beauty has since moved on with their former co-star Chris Taylor, after their friendship blossomed into romance late last year.

During Friday’s episode of Celebs Go Dating, Curtis opened up about his relationship with Maura during a therapy session with experts Anna Williamson and Paul Carrick Brunson.

The professional dancer said: “She wasn’t my usual type. She’s red hot, fiery, attractive…”

“Behind closed doors I am a fiery character – in my dancing you have to be – and in the bedroom and stuff I am like that a little bit you know.”

Curtis added: “She’s now in a relationship, just recently got in a relationship with her ‘best friend’ who came into Love Island and stated that he fancied Maura.”

The 24-year-old put his hands up in quote marks when he said ‘best friend’, taking a swipe at the new couple.

Towards the end of the conversation, Curtis had tears in his eyes, as dating expert Anna said: “This baggage you’re carrying, we can see how hurt you have been.”

The news comes after Curtis previously revealed he felt “hurt and betrayed” by Maura and Chris’ romance.

Shortly after they confirmed their relationship in November, Curtis told The Sun: “I feel betrayed by them both — two people I was very close to.”

“When I saw the pictures, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t feel hurt. I was upset. How long has this truly been going on for? They said they would never ever be together, and here they are.”

“If I bump into them, I’ll just say congratulations and I hope it really does turn out to be ‘the one’.”
